Vetted Domestic and Non-Traditional Suppliers Offering PPE and Other Supplies and Services
The list of vetted and approved vendors listed below was curated through a collaboration with GHX using the same tools, expertise and processes leveraged by its Vendormate solutions to vet non-traditional suppliers offering PPE supplies.
All suppliers were reviewed through the Vendormate solution using the Fraud Abuse Control Information Systems (FACIS) Level 1M search which is considered the minimal “best practice” and includes all federal level data. Searches were performed against agency sources of information including Office of the Inspector General (OIG), System for Award Management (SAM), and the FDA. FACIS Level 1M also includes state level Federal Healthcare Entitlement Program (FHEP) related data. This includes information such as state offices of the Medicaid Inspector General or equivalent state’s Attorneys General, the Medicaid Healthcare Fraud Prevention and Enforcement Action Team (“HEAT”) content and any state level contractor or procurement debarment data.
AHRMM and GHX Vendormate have recently teamed up again to vet U.S.-based PPE manufacturers. AHRMM believes domestic manufacturing is one component in a multi-pronged approach needed to help ensure a resilient health care supply chain. To access the full list of vetted U.S. manufacturers, click the button or use the Manufacturer filter option below.
If you are a domestic manufacturer who is interested in being evaluated for this list or you have a recommendation for a manufacturer you believe should be on this list, please contact us at AHRMM@aha.org.
AHRMM is collaborating with ECRI, the Most Trusted Voice in Healthcare, to provide lists of non-traditional suppliers offering PPE supplies. In this collaboration, AHRMM is tracking non-traditional domestic suppliers and ECRI is tracking non-traditional international suppliers. For more than 50 years, ECRI has been at the forefront of research into patient safety, quality and evidence-based medicine, helping to identify the best services, products and tools to safeguard patients and drive effective care. Today, ECRI is one of the few institutions designated as an Evidence-based Practice Center by the U.S. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality; a federally-certified Patient Safety Organization; and the only independent evaluator of medical products for safety and usability, with laboratories in both North America and the Asia-Pacific region. The combined effort and solution between AHRMM and ECRI will help providers vet non-traditional suppliers and provide assurance that the have been assessed by each organization. For more information, visit the ECRI COVID-19 Resources for Supply Chain.

Summary
The UST mission was founded on the compelling need to create a self-reliant domestic healthcare manufacturing ecosystem. Beginning in June of 2020, an international team of manufacturing and distribution experts locked arms to solve this emerging challenge. In June of 2021, The Department of Defense (DOD) awarded UST a contract to initiate medi¬cal-grade nitrile exam glove domestic production. The 735,000 square foot Bethlehem Steel UST facility will become a progressive medical manufacturing complex and model for community renewal. At full scale, UST plans to manufacture over 10 billion gloves per year, while creating more than 1500 new roles. The UST portfolio will launch with a competitive FDA-approved medical-grade nitrile exam glove designed to meet the health care field’s requirements for superior protection. UST’s multi-facet¬ed business model and distribution services will create differentiation within the domestic glove market. Glove procurement initiatives will be the predominant target markets based on heightened exam glove use. Additional opportunities for expansion also include dental offices, laboratories, clinical/biotech research, and the food production industries.
