Description
Building on the foundations of creating total value, this course will define various aspects of utilization, including supplies, services, procedures, site of care, suppliers, distributors, space, and standard work. Additionally, the course will focus on the importance of understanding and collaborating with physicians and organizational leadership to establish a high-value culture. A brief overview of current health care pressures, such as Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), Population Health, Chronic Disease Management, and Value-Based Care will be provided, with a discussion on how these align with value integration.
In 2023, FDA reviews were occurring faster, with an increase in novel and AI/ML-enabled approvals. Shared case studies will illuminate strategies for reviewing and adopting innovative technology and adjusting process models to meet new health care demands.
